I have had this journal entry as a draft for quite some time now, and wanted to write few bits about Pisces Szn, but never managed to do so. Today, I felt a bit of inspiration to send a little update + gratitude email to my beautiful community of subscribers here, so I thought it would also be a wonderful time to complete, or perhaps even re-write a few things in this space.

The Winter Season has been very interesting, and it felt super long this year. We’ve had really beautiful weather lasting for over a week, and I just felt the need to be in the garden all day rather than in front of my laptop! It’s amazing how being with the Sun and my hands in the soil, lifted any feelings of melancholy and brought so much joy + inspiration. I have already sown some seeds and a lot of them have germinated! I typically start all my seeds with Spring Equinox, but this year I couldn’t help myself. We have done so much work in the garden, the whole layout changed, and I just cannot wait to see flowers blooming this year. All the plants that have been living in temp containers throughout Winter, have now been transplanted into their final positions. Belladonna + Datura have their own raised beds. Many Foxgloves, Mullein, Angelica + Elecampane babes emerging ! So many new Roses, Damask, Rugosas + Galica !

So, now back to the last few days of the Pisces Szn ! We are now in this in-between space, on the cusp of Spring + Aries Season. Plants are already awakening and new seeds germinating. I find myself envisioning this new year, things that I want to do, focus on. I’m sharing this little poster with plant friends for Pisces folks, and also for this season, as we have Sun, Saturn, Neptune + North Node all in Pisces. I encourage you to maybe look into the house with your Pisces placement and see the themes of that house, and where to focus your attention. Regardless where Pisces sit in your chart, I feel we all need a little support with our lymphatic + immune system. Pisces rules the lymphatic system, which is crucial to our immune system. When our lymph + inner waters become stagnant we need extra support to move these blockages. Plant friends like Cleavers, Nettles, Viola, are beautiful to move stagnant fluids within the entire system, clean out metabolic waste, filter out toxins, which also correlates to filtering out energies that don’t belong. Pisces are sensitive folks and are very attuned to the energies around them, including psychic. It’s important to ground the energy, and also work with plant allies that help to bring us into our bodies. Some relaxing plant friends like Lemon Balm, Passionflower, Skullcap or California Poppy are all amazing friends to connect with.

Of course, there’s so many other ways to help us ground, and soon transition into Spring, like nourishing broths, daily walks, exercising { gym helps me so much with moving stuck energies + channelling healthy anger lol} herbal body oiling, lymphatic drainage massages, cleansing herbal baths + grounding foot soak. I love working with our native Sage at the moment in baths to help me cleanse my energetic field, and ground me deeply in my vision, reminding me to trust + believe in myself, and see things with greater clarity. I have also started gentle liver cleanse with daily decoctions of Dandelion root. I cannot wait for Nettles to return, they have been slower this year…

You can work with these plants in many forms. Herbal body oils, flower essences, teas, or tinctures. You can find Cali Poppy + Mugwort, together w Catnip and Chamomile in Into the Stars Elixir, to help us relax, and ease us into deep sleep. As we are also navigating through the Eclipse portal, with both Venus, and now Mercury in Rx, it’s important to remember that no matter what unfolds, you are always supported + guided. Eclipses bring unexpected + sudden changes. LOADS of clearings, losses, purification + revelations. This eclipse feels karmic, intense, and a little bit unsettling. The only thing we can do is to surrender to Spirit and continue opening our hearts, trusting that everything is going according to the Divine Plan. Many of us are in the process of shedding the old, letting go and grieving relationships. This can be intense, heart breaking, confusing + very cathartic. Endings are painful, but new beginnings are so beautiful, right? So many of my close relatives, friends are going through massive endings. Some things that have transpired recently are absolutely wild, and to be honest, I have zero doubts that there’s a higher power, unseen forces at play. Everything and everyone that cannot join us on our higher paths, will be removed from our lives. Everything that isn’t authentic to our true essence, and out of integrity with our values, will be cleared away.

With Venus + Merc Rx, we are asked to be patient with ourselves, to trust the process and our inner voice as we navigate through these endings. I know that our minds often create stories and want to know the answers right now. We sometimes want to take away the discomfort we may be feeling. However, it is important to remember that our minds are also filled with illusions, stories…so let’s try to stay present with that discomfort instead of running from it { note to self}. At this moment ~ trust, remember to breathe deeply, and stay present. Call on Plant Spirit Helpers + your Healed Ancestors to continue to guide…We don’t have to make any decisions now, or have big conversations, esp when it comes to relationships, because some things have to marinate for a bit..

As we approach the time after the Solar Eclipse and with Mercury going direct on April 7th, we will start to gain more clarity and deeper understanding regarding the reasons why things unfolded in the way that they did. Some relationships can deepen, and some we will have to say goodbye to.

Datura in the Summer Medicine Garden ‘23

Datura has made her appearance for me once again, so I have decided to log off for a few days and devote my time to working deeply with the Flower Essence during this Eclipse Portal. There’s an abundance of emotional release that is surfacing already, following the opening of my Ceremony. There’s this deep feeling of support from her, the knowing + trust. If you have been with me for a while now, you know how much I LOVE Datura. She has been with me since 2021, entered my life through a vivid dream, and from there, the rest is a love story. It’s my 5th year growing Datura, and each year I’m just more in love, learning so much about her + myself. She became a beautiful friend, guide, teacher. I can strongly feel her presence this month, esp. as I have many freshly germinated seedlings in my bedroom 😆

Datura is here to help us surrender to the unknown, and TRUST. When we are in this sort of in between space, becoming. The old, outdated patterns, ways of being, jobs, people in our lives, no longer fit us or serve our growth. To me, Datura is a beautiful ally for navigating all forms of transitions, from endings to deaths + new beginnings. She embodies this cycle of death and rebirth. Datura invites us to examine behaviours, beliefs, and mental + emotional patterns that no longer serve us, incl. relationships we have outgrown or that are no longer healthy for us. Datura helps us see things as they truly are. The truth ⚔️Datura helps us see people for who they truly are. She helps us purge attachments, toxicity + energetic clutter, and once we surrender to the process and allow ourselves to be with every single discomfort, feeling or intensity, we can see things from a higher perspective, with much more clarity.
